Two individuals were taken to Moore County Hospital after they were involved in a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 15-501 near the Voit Gilmore Road, according to Southern Pines fire officials.

The wreck happened at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Two individuals described as being in their 20s were in a vehicle that apparently pulled out in front of another vehicle and was hit in the side.

The names of the individuals were not immediately available.

Both individuals suffered minor injuries, according to fire officials.
