The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

March 17: Damari Marcel McPhaul, 20, of Southern Pines, simple assault; Ariel Paige Johnson, 17, of Eagle Springs, larceny; Tiarra Shaine Allred, 17, of West End, larceny.

March 19: Marketa Shanice Wells, 22, of Aberdeen, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia; Robert Lee Patterson, 38, of Ellerbe, fugitive from justice.

March 20: Douglas Cornelius Harris, 38, of Southern Pines, second-degree trespass.

March 21: Jon Redinger Whittmann, 19, of Raeford, drug possession; Donna Mechelle Rhoades, 39, of Southern Pines, larceny; Edward Kinton Wallace, 35, of Southern Pines, aggravated assault on a handicapped person, first-degree sexual offense, second-degree sexual assault and fail to appear (order for arrest).

March 22: Travon Devante Perkins, 18, of Southern Pines, resisting a public officer; Gregory Daquan Harris, 25, of Southern Pines, failure to appear (order for arrest).

March 23: Marc Malloy, 30, of Pinebluff, true bill of indictment.

March 24: Jammie Artine Verbal, 26, of Southern Pines, assault on a government official, injury to personal property and resistimg a public officer.

March 25: Timothy Andrew Peedin, 41, of Southern Pines, worthless check.

Reports

March 23: Male, 47, reported someone broke a window with a rock on a 2009 Chevy that was parked in the 400 block of West Morganton Road; An employee of Staples, 290 Turner St., reported someone attempted to purchase items with a fraudulent check;

Female, 34, reported someone entered a home through a window in the 800 block of South Gaines Street; An employee of Whit Lauer Jewelry Store, 229 NE Broad St., reported the theft of earrings from the store.

March 24: Officers investigated the reported the illegal discharge of a firearm in the 300 block of Shaw Avenue; Male, 32, reported he was threatened with a weapon during an incident in the 1800 block of U.S. 1 South; Female, 53, reported a broken window at a home in the 1200 block of West New Hampshire Avenue; Female, 50, reported a break-in at a home in the 200 block of Shaw Avenue.

March 27: Female, 57, reported the unauthorized use of a credit/bank card; Female, 59, reported someone broke into a home in the 300 block of Haley Street and removed jewelry.

March 29: Male, 40, reported the theft of CDs, costume jewelry, a DVD and medications from a 2003 Jeep parked in the 200 block of Pinehurst Avenue; Female, 29, reported the theft of bicycle from a home in the 8500 block of South Mechanic Street; Male, 71, reported finding marijuana in a parking lot in the 1600 block of Central Drive;

Female, 24, reported the theft of a wallet and identification cards from a 1994 Lincoln parked in the 10800 block of U.S. 15-501.
