The Pinehurst Police Department provided the following information.

Reports

March 26: Male, 77, reported someone entered his 1995 Chevy parked on Fields Road and removed jewelry and a handbag; Male, 68, reported another gave him a worthless check; Female, 70, reported the theft of a watch and jewelry from her home on Colonial Pine Circle.

March 27: Male, 72, reported damage to a decorative lawn ornament at his home on Walnut Creek Road; Male, 57, reported the theft of three firearms and a ring from his home on Ash Court.

March 30: Male, 31, reported he was verbally assaulted during an incident at a home on Holly Pines Drive; Female, 29, reported receiving a fraudulent check in the mail at her home on Juniper Creek Boulevard; Female, 61, reported four missing watches from a home on Halkirk Drive. The items were later reported found.

March 31: Female, reported a broken window at a home in the 100 block of Thorne Road.
