Nonsense? Amen!

So evangelist Franklin Graham is not sure whether President Obama is a Christian or not, and couldn’t declare categorically that he is a Muslim.

This he said during a TV interview, and it was reiterated in The Pilot’s editorial on Feb. 29 (“Graham’s Nonsense”). How ridiculous.

No one should question another’s statements when it comes to their religion, be it Christian, Hindu, Muslim or other.

I certainly would not have thought Franklin Graham would have responded as he did during that TV interview. At best, it was inappropriate.

And to the editorial comment that it’s “nonsense,” I say, “Amen.”

He's a conservative Republican (maybe even a TeaPotter). By definition, of course he's another hate merchant.

I went back and watched the entire interview again. It's Ms Parsons and proudyankee that should be ashamed. In cutting straight to the bone Parsons and proudyankee, what exact statement did Rev Graham use that was inappropriate? And did either of you watch the interview or are you simply going off what you think was said?

Actually, I really don't know WHAT Obama is!! He has stated in the media that he is Christian...and he has stated in the media that he is Muslim. So why don't you try to tell us, Martha, what he is other than a liar, which is confirmed!!

BTW . . . all politicians lie or exagerate or embellish. That doesn't make him better, it just makes him a politician.

Jesus spoke of a man's true character by using the good tree bringing forth good fruit as an example in Luke 6:43-46. Franklin Graham has done many good things through his Christian Samaritians Purse relief efforts, with only donated funds. Christians are to be discerning, which was what Franklin Graham was doing.

Who cares what he is! I hope he's an Atheist myself. This country needs a President who stands behind Science and rational thinking, not some mythical space creature in the sky.
