The Aberdeen Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

March 28: Ibrahim Sharif Al Sayed-Ahmad, 41, of Charlotte, felony burglary, felony larceny after break and enter, felony possession of stolen property.

March 30: April Gail Ramon, 27, of Sanford, shoplifting, possessing/concealing stolen property.

March 31: Daniel Melvin Smith, 29, of Aberdeen, driving while impaired, misdemeanor child abuse, fail to maintain lane control.

April 1: Henry Lee Byrd Jr., 39, of Aberdeen, felony kidnapping, felony aggravated assault, simple physical assault; Johnathan Akeem Lindsey, 23, homeless, misdemeanor larceny, felony fraud obtaining money/property by false pretenses and misdemeanor possessing/concealing stolen property; Cheryl Vernette McDaniel, 43, of Pinehurst, court violations (order for arrest) and misdemeanor larceny; Zatrrick Dievell Boyd, 17, of Southern Pines, misdemeanor shoplifting and misdemeanor possessing/concealing stolen property.

Reports

March 26: Male, 31, reported someone stole a 2004 Nissan SUV after entering an unlocked garage at a home in the 100 block of Lori Lane; An employee of Cold Stone Creamery, 11088 U.S. 15-501, reported the theft of a utility trailer from the business parking lot.

March 27: An employee of Mac’s Breakfast Anytime, 1904 N. Sandhills Blvd., reported the unauthorized removal of money from a store safe.

March 28: An employee of Cellular Sales, 11088 N. U.S. 15-501, reported the theft of eight iPhone 4S cellphones from the store; Male, 26, reported someone made unauthorized credit card purchases.

March 29: Male, 31, reported someone broke into a 2005 Chevy parked in the 700 block of Sun Road, Aberdeen; An employee of Walmart, 250 Turner St., reported the theft of four DVDs and health care cream.

March 31: Male, 39, reported the theft of clothing, shoes, silverware and household items from a motel room at the Sandhills Extended Stay, 1500 N. Sandhills Blvd.
