Senior Nick Thompson shot a 3-under-par 69 at Scotch Meadows to lead the Pinecrest boys to their third Southeastern Conference golf victory in a row.

The Patriots posted a 5-under team total of 283 to win by 48 strokes over second-place Richmond Senior. The Patriot total also included a 70 by freshman Josh Martin and 72s by junior Zach Martin and sophomore Josh Stockwell. The other Patriot scores were a 76 by Sam Kosich, a 77 by Austin Scarboro and an 84 by Trey Sweeting.

The other team scores were: Lumberton, 341, Purnell Swett, 349, Scotland High, 355, and Hoke County, 363. The next league match is scheduled for April 16 with Richmond Senior hosting at National Golf Club.
