Avjet Biotech Inc. has announced the release of a podcast regarding the organization's Red Wolf refining process.
In this podcast, Dr. William Roberts, principal scientist, provides an overview of how the Red Wolf refining process works and explains how this process is different from other refining systems and the impact of the system on the environment. "The Red Wolf process produces true drop-in fuels from renewable resources," said Donald Evans, CEO of Avjet Biotech Inc. "The capability of this refining system to create aviation biofuel from native feedstocks will help us support the U.S. military in its efforts to reduce dependence on foreign oil."
Red Wolf Refining has developed the RWR System, a unique patented refining technique that uses a thermal catalytic process to refine any triglyceride into aviation biofuels. The RWR system is under development for sale as a small distributive refining system to global entities or foreign governments that aspire to produce aviation biofuels from native feedstocks, a news release said.
Red Wolf has been approached by global corporations and foreign governments for sub-licenses for its RWR System.
Avjet Biotech's other division besides Red Wolf Refining is Pinehurst Biologics, which produces patented enzymes and products from algae selected for development as a feedstock for aviation biofuel.
Avjet Biotech, Inc. (ABI) is a leading developer and builder of small distributive refining systems in the 10-million-gallon-per-year range. Its Red Wolf Refining division creates superior transportation biofuels.
Based in Pinehurst, Avject Biotech supports the U.S. military in its goal to eliminate dependence on foreign oil.
