Union Pines picked up two more wins in girls’ tennis action, defeating Westover 9-0 on Monday and Jordan-Matthews 8-1 last Thursday.

Both wins were on the road for the Vikings, who are now 9-0 on the season and 6-0 in the Cape Fear Conference.

In the conference win over Westover, Brittany Jones won her 70th career match as a Viking. Her overall record is now 70-18. Elana D’Argenio became the sixth current Viking player to reach 30 wins. She is now 32-3.

The Vikings have another conference matchup when they travel to Douglas Byrd today.
