A Young Perspective on 9/11

As we pause to remember what happened 10 years ago on Sept. 11, it's easy to forget that most of Moore County's younger residents were too young to understand the horrific events that forever changed the United States.

Fifth-graders from The O'Neal School, Fulton Smith, Shamiso Kodzai, Ramsey Milligan and Andy Jenkins, discuss their perspective of the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Because the students were barely a year old when the terrorist attacks occurred, they only know a post-9/11 world and have based their views of the event on the stories told to them by the adults in their lives.
