Georgia Woman Faces Charges She Ran Meth Lab Out of Car

Moore County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a Georgia woman because they say she was operating a meth lab out of her vehicle.
Ashley Lee Ingram, 27, of Springfield, Ga., is charged with possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine, manufacture methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a release from the department.
On Aug. 30 the Moore County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received information that a gold Chevy Trailblazer with Georgia tags was operating in the Carthage area with a possible meth lab inside.
Detectives located the vehicle on Summer Hill Church Road, Carthage, and found Ingram to be the driver. Detectives found inside the vehicle items used to make methamphetamine.
Agents with the State Bureau of Investigation assisted in the case.
