The Viking duo of senior setter Morgan Bridgers and junior outside hitter Brittany Erickson provided steady productivity and leadership throughout Thursday's pivotal early-season league match.

As the match progressed, sophomore middle hitter Tiffany Hicks settled into a rhythm to finish with six blocks and five kills for Union Pines. Viking senior libero Lexi Byrd had six digs in the tilt.
