The deadline to make nominations for the 2012 Governor's Award for Volunteer Service in Moore County is Oct. 28.

Nomination forms may be picked up at the front desk at the Senior Enrichment Center on U.S. 15-501, two miles north of the Pinehurst Traffic Circle. Nominations can also be made on the county website, www.moorecountync.gov (choose the Department of Aging among departments, then click on RSVP and click on upcoming events) or by email to sklein@moorecountync.gov to request a nomination form.

The award program is administered by the RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) arm of the Moore County Department of Aging.
