The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.
Reports
Oct. 7: Male, 66, reported someone removed scrap copper wire from property on Loafers Lane, Carthage; Male, 52, reported someone removed brass and copper from his property on Grand Road in Vass; Male, 27, reported someone removed a puppy from property on Smith Drive, Aberdeen.
Oct. 8: Male, 56, reported someone broke into a home on Wood River Road, Carthage, and removed a wood stove.
Oct. 9: Female, reported an accidental fire near a trailer home on Cradle Drive, Carthage; Female, 46, reported someone vandalized her 2010 Dodge parked on T Johnson Road, Carthage; An employee of Dollar General, N.C. 211, West End, reported someone started a fire outside the store.
Oct. 10: Male, 82, reported someone broke into a residence on Dowd Road, Carthage; Female, 19, reported that someone entered a home on Doubs Chapel Road, West End, and removed a digital camera, a shotgun and an air compressor.
Oct. 11: Male, 59, reported damage to mailboxes and a electric gate at Willow Brook Drive and Dowd Road, Carthage; Female, 28, reported the theft of a lawn mower, a set of pots and pans, a cell phone and a food stamps card from a home on Lakeview Lane, Cameron; A Sheriff’s Office employee reported damage to a door of a vacant home on Pineywood Church Road; Female, 76, reported the theft of a horse saddle from a barn on N. May Street, Southern Pines.
Oct. 12: Female, 30, reported someone entered her home on Chalmers Road, Sanford, and removed a video game console, a BB gun, a camcorder, a digital camera, a digital music player and an alarm clock radio.
Oct. 13: Female, 41, reported the larceny of scrap metal from a home on Fairgrove Lane, West End; Female, 36, reported the theft of copper wire and a vehicle battery from an outbuilding on Airport Road, Carthage; Female, 47, reported someone shot her 2003 Nissan while she was driving the vehicle on N.C. 73 near West End.
