Man Arrested, Charged in Break-Ins

Moore County Sheriff's investigators have arrested a Carthage man and charged him in connection with two break-ins in Seven Lakes and West End.

Curtis Errol Boler, 44, faces two counts each of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony possession of stolen goods, injury to personal property, and one count each of resisting a public officer, and fail to heed to a blue light or siren.

Boler was placed in Moore County jail under a $25,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is set for Oct. 20.

On Oct. 6 deputies performing routine business checks discovered the Seven Lakes Friendly Mart had been broken into.

Three days later, Aaron Watson reported a break-in in progress at the Mac's Food Store No. 5 in West End.

Deputies responded and the suspect attempted to flee.

Taken from both break-ins was a total of approximately $350 and a few packs of cigarettes.
