Folly Beach, S.C.'s roots-rock trio Dangermuffin will be playing at First Friday in Southern Pines Friday, Oct. 7, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The show is free, but food donations benefiting The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina are encouraged. Making up the band are Dan Lotti (vocals, acoustic guitar), Mike Sivilli (electric guitar) and Steven Sandifer (drums, percussion). Dangermuffin has been touring since releasing their second full-length album, "Moonscapes," in 2010. They are now averaging more than 200 shows a year.
