Gilbert Theater presents "A Christmas Carol" Nov. 25-Dec. 11, Thursday through Saturday, at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Directed by Lynn Pryer, this is the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a hard-hearted miser visited by a series of spirits who take him through time and Victorian London to learn about humanity and the Christmas spirit.
Season ticket holders may reserve via phone message or email.
"Simply provide your name, the number in your party and the date you wish to attend," says a spokesman. "In addition, if making the reservation by phone, please leave a contact number."
Reservations are accepted 24 hours a day online with Etix through the website. All other reservations will be accepted at the theater during set box office dates and hours.
"During these hours you may purchase your tickets at the theater, or call and pay with a credit card via phone (in person is best, due to wait time on the phone)," says the spokesman. "Phone reservations will not be taken any other time. Please don't leave your reservation request in a voice mail."
Box office hours are Thursdays Nov. 17, Dec. 1 and Dec. 8, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
"And of course, walk-ups are always welcome to come to a performance, but we can't guarantee seat availability," says the spokesman. "Doors and the box office open one hour prior to the start of show, and we can accept cash or check only if purchasing tickets at the door. Tickets are $12."
Tickets may be purchased at www.gilberttheater.com.
Gilbert Theater is located at 116 Green St., Fayetteville, in the same building as the Fascinate-U Children's Museum. Its entrance is on the Bow Street side of the building.
