The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

Oct. 29: George Courtney Murphy Jr., 22, of Southern Pines, drug possession; Ralph Eugene Byrd, 51, of Southern Pines, communicating threats; Israel Mateo Sanchez, 35, of Southern Pines, drug possession.

Oct. 31: Amber Marie Shaw, 19, of Vass, shoplifting.

Nov. 1: Kenneth William Toney, 50, of Dunn, defrauding innkeeper or campground owner.

Nov. 3: Tremayne Devon McLeod, 34, of Southern Pines, assault on female and assault on emergency personnel; Micah Randolph Bowens, 32, of Southern Pines, first-degree trespass and drug possession; Taren Colby Cruse, 26, of Jackson Springs, embezzlement.

Nov. 4: Shakira Elizabeth Bandy, 22, of Southern Pines, simple assault and battery, assault and battery or affray.

Nov. 5: Ashley Nicole Sandrock, 22, of Wagram, shoplifting.

Nov. 6: Deven Morel, 28, of Southern Pines, drug possession.

Reports

Nov. 2: An employee of Pure Gold, 1864, U.S. 1 South, reported the theft of a cell phone from the business; Two employees of Belk, 10205 U.S. 15-501, reported someone concealed jewelry, clothing and other merchandise and left the store without paying for the items.

Nov. 3: Male, 41, reported the theft of washing machine, a dryer and a television from a home in the 100 block of Meeting House Road; Male, 55, of Thomasville, reported someone reportedly used his identity without permission; Female, 67, reported someone damaged the paint on her vehicle while it was parked in the 800 block of North Leak Street.

Nov. 4: Female, 49, reported the theft of a treadmill, a flatbed trailer, a drill and other assorted hand tools, a tool box and a car radio from a home in the 100 block of Holiday Street; Female, 51, reported she wired money and then did not receive promised item; Female, 21, reported she and others were assaulted and threatened during an incident at Golden Corral, 265 Turner St.; Female, 39, reported she was struck in the head with a water bottle following an incident with another person in the 10800 block of U.S. 15-501.

Nov. 5: Female, 52, reported someone took the vehicle license plate without permission from her 2002 Jeep parked in the 1400 block of West Pennsylvania Avenue Extension; Male, 22, reported the theft of a pocketbook and identification from a a 1998 Dodge truck parked in the 1600 block of U.S. 1 South; An employee of Belk, 10205 U.S. 15-501, reported someone concealed earrings and left the store without paying for them.

Nov. 8: Male, 45, reported the theft of two generators from a home in the 1100 block of West Iowa Avenue.

Nov. 9: Juvenile reported damage to a Toyota truck parked at Pinecrest High School; Female, 39, reported a known subject struck her and punched a car window during an incident in the 100 block of West Connecticut Avenue; Male, 62, reported the break in and theft of cash at a home in the 100 block of Waynor Road; Male, 70, reported he was head-butted by another during an incident in the 1100 block of Old U.S. 1.

Nov. 10: Male, 26, of Indianapolis, reported someone discharged a firearm in the 10800 block of U.S. 15-501.
