The O’Neal girls’ basketball team dropped a close 32-29 nonconference decision Tuesday in Sanford to Lee Christian.
Mary Dixon continued her consistent play in the early season, according to coach Don Woodfield, leading the Falcons with 12 points. Freshman Taylor Shelton chipped in with nine points. Abby Fuller and Scotti McGowan had three points each, while Maeve Bartiss added two for the Falcons.
O’Neal is now 0-3 on the season.
