Lions Clubs International presented W. Brad Logsdon, of Southern Pines, with the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest award the association grants to its members.

The award was given to Logsdon in recognition of his commitment to service to those in need, whether it be sight-related or just plain need.

"It is very rewarding to help fulfill community needs, and it is a great honor to be presented with this award," said Logsdon.

A member of the Sandhills Lions Club, Logsdon has been a Lion for almost 20 years, and has participated in various club projects.

"Our club is very proud of Brad and all he has done to help others," said Bill Koontz, president of the Sandhills Lions Club. "We look forward to continuing to serve side-by-side with this dedicated and driven Lion."

Lions are men and women who identify needs within their communities and work together to fulfill those needs. For more information or to get involved with the Sandhills Lions Club, contact Brad Logsdon at (910) 692-7966, or email lion31f@nc.rr.com, or visit the website www.lionwap.org/PinehurstNC.
