Miss Noel Pageant Set for Saturday

The Sandhills Business and Professional Women's Organization will present the 2011 Miss Noel Scholarship Pageant at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Aberdeen Elementary School Auditorium in Aberdeen.
Co-hostesses for the event are Summer Hennings, Miss Moore County 2012, and Alessandra Gironda, Miss Moore County Outstanding Teen 2012.
The program is dedicated to the recipients of the Sandhills BPW Scholarships, given since 1982 to deserving Moore County women of all ages to further their educational goals. This annual scholarship program has been and is supported by the contributions from local businesses, members and pageant families. Scholarships are awarded in the spring.
The Little Miss Noel contestants are: Amelia Guevara, daughter of Frank and Donna Guevara, Aberdeen; Amy Adelle Bumgarner, daughter of Carey and Sandra Bumgarner, West End; Mercedes Isabella Alvarado, daughter of Paula Jones and Octavio Alvarado, Carthage; and Hannah Catherine Davis, daughter of Jonathan and Cindy Davis, Sanford.
The Junior Miss Noel contestants are: Lindsay Douglass, daughter of Laura and Jim Douglass, West End; Madison Elizabeth Kelley, daughter of Ken and Catrina Kelley, Southern Pines; Isabel Brugveras, daughter of Linda Stewart, Pinehurst.
The Miss Noel contestants are: Isabella Arnot, daughter of Frank and Heidi Arnot, Seven Lakes; Calli Brielle McIntyre, daughter of Matt and Noelle McIntyre, Pinehurst; Tanna Stafford, daughter of Tom and Lisa Stafford, Southern Pines; Tearsah Brugveras, daughter of Linda Stewart, Pinehurst.
Tickets are $5 for adults (12 and older) and $3 for children. They may be purchased from any contestant, or at the door.
