I wonder if you are aware of the fantastic good Samaritans in West End.

The (organization’s) name is GodSent Angels, and it is run by the Burts. They will accept anything, from all home furnishings all the way down to tote bags. They have taken all manner of things to victims of hurricanes and floods. They are extremely kind to the homeless. They feed and clothe them, and are seeing to it that they have a Christmas meal and gifts at Bo’s market.

If any of your readers have anything to contribute (pots, dishes, flatware, toys, fans, furniture, pet food, grocery cards, toiletries, linens bagged and marked for size, towels, makeup for battered women, children’s clothing and baby clothes, bagged and sized, anything for babies, hangers and clothes on hangers, all food items), they will accept everything with grace.

From the Pinehurst area take U.S. 211 to just before the old Stanley Furniture plant, then turn left and go across the railroad tracks. They’re the first house on the right. Turn right and go in their driveway to the barber shop. They will be most grateful, and you will be blessed.
