The Southern Pines Pool opens Saturday, May 28.

Special weekend hours are May 28, 29, 30 and June 4- 5, from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. The regular operational schedule begins June 10, when the pool will be open every day, except Sundays, from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Free swim is held the first hour of every day, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and admission is free for everyone.

Pool admission fees are: 12 years and under, $1 Southern Pines residents/$2 nonresidents; 13 years and over, $2 Southern Pines residents/$4 nonresidents; and children 6 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.

A pool registration form should be completed. They are available at the pool and online at www.southernpines.net/recreation.

The pool is located at 730 S. Stephens St. in Southern Pines.
