Three people face drug charges after searches of two houses near Vass today.
Norman Terrell Taylor Jr., 32, and Rebecca Precious Belton, 24, both of 135 Fairley Lane, Vass, and James Tyrone Blue, 27, 1550 Lobelia Road, Vass, were arrested by officers with the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit and selective enforcement unit after the searches were conducted, according to a press release.
During a search of the home at 135 Fairley Lane, officers located and seized three grams of crack cocaine, four grams of marijuana, 14 Percocet pills, seven Lorcet pills, two Xanax pills, a .357 caliber handgun, $583 and items of drug paraphernalia, including digital scales, according to the release.
During the search of the home at 1550 Lobelia Road, officers located and seized 18 grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine, four Hydrocodone pills, $343 and items of drug paraphernalia, including digital scales, according to the release.
Taylor was charged with two counts of felony trafficking in opium, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of a firearm by felon, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
He was jailed, with bail set at $500,000.
Belton was charged with two counts of trafficking in opium, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor child abuse, according to a release.
She was released on an unsecured $100,000 bond.
Blue was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, according to the release.
He was jailed, with bail set at $100,000.

Don't be so quick to judge. It's not right what they are doing, but someone is buying the drugs so why are they so at fault. Remember these are people and they have feelings and families like everyone else.
