Blair Kirsten Puleo, Miss Moore County, was chosen as a nonfinalist talent winner at Saturday night's Miss North Carolina Pageant, in Raleigh.

Puleo performed a ballet en pointe to "The Dance of the Swans" from "Swan Lake."

Puleo, a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is the daughter of Drs. Joel and Ellen Puleo.

She has been participating in pageants for many years.

Also participating in the Miss N.C. pageant was Leah King, Miss Greater Sandhills.

Paige Adkins, Miss Moore County's Outstanding Teen, and Jessie Keener, Miss Greater Sandhills Outstanding Teen, competed in Friday night's teen pageant.
