Cox Sisters Perform for Ministry

The Women's Ministry of Trinity Christian Fellowship Church held its inaugural event on Monday, June 6, at the Mid Pines Resort.

More than 85 women attended the luncheon, which featured music and devotions by members of the fellowship.

A "Concerto for Four Violins" was presented by Charlotte, Sarah, Mary Catherine and Caroline Cox, each of whom have won both violin and piano competitions. Caroline is a student at East Carolina University; Mary Catherine will enter East Carolina next fall; Sarah is a rising high school senior; and Charlotte, age 11, is the youngest of the four girls.

Also participating in the program were Carol Thomas, soloist, who sang a medley from "The Sound of Music," accompanied by pianist Sandy Tremblay. Other participants included OvaJean Siemens, Gretchen Klingensmith, Lillie Townsent, Rita Byles, Carol Pizzi, Cheryal Korfmann and Caroline Miller.

Carol Pizzi, chairman of the Trinity Women's Ministry, announced a -special combined men and women's event scheduled for August when Greg Stube, a Green Beret Special Forces soldier, will share his personal faith story.

Trinity Christian Fellowship worship services are held in the Activities Center Theater of The O'Neal School on Sunday mornings at 10:30 and is preceded by an adult Sunday School at 9 a.m., -followed by a fellowship and coffee hour at 10 a.m. Nursery and children's church are available every week. Wednesday mid-week dinner and fellowship is held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
