The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

May 21: Ishmael Jaman Barnes, 24, of Southern Pines, assault of a female; Marco Lynn Cheatham, 22, of Carthage, resist a public officer; T.C. Dean Watkins, 28, of Southern Pines, simple assault and battery or affray; Alexis Rose Basso, 19, of Carthage, intoxicated and disruptive; Lawrence Coppedge, 58, of Southern Pines, assault by pointing a gun and kidnapping.

May 23: Roosevelt Robinston Jr., 22, drug possession; Chad Michael McKenna, 27, of Hamlet, auto theft.

May 24: Jacob Arthur McSwain, 20, of Southern Pines, failure to appear (order for arrest).

May 25: Labar Sanchez Pratt, 33, of Southern Pines, second-degree trespass, resist a public officer; Bobby Terrell Dobbins, 18, of Southern Pines, robbery with firearm other dangerous weapon and first-degree burglary.

May 27: Johnston Webber Howe, 23, of Pinebluff, possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 28: Samuel Cole Middleton, 17, of Southern Pines, two counts of drug possession and four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; Morgan Robert Van Camp, 16, of Southern Pines, discharging or carrying a firearm or weapon.

May 29: Daniel Allen Harman, 16, of Jackson Springs, three counts of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia; Jermaine Michael Quick, 31, of Southern Pines, felony breaking and entering a building and felony larceny.

Reports

May 23: Male, 46, reported someone damaged the exterior of a 1999 Mazda parked in the 1300 block of West New York Avenue.

May 26: Male, 23, reported he was struck in the face during an incident at a home in the 300 block of Austin Ridge Circle.

May 27: Female, 33, reported a fire at a home in the 900 block of West New Hampshire Ave.; Male, 66, reported someone entered a home in the 300 block Commerce Avenue and removed a wallet, identification and cash.

May 28: A juvenile reported being threatened during an incident in the 10000 block of U.S. 15-501; Female, 26, reported someone took her cellular phone and cash without consent and then hit her during an incident at a home in the 400 block of Shaw Avenue.

May 30: An employee of Mid South Golf Club, 1 Palmer Drive, reported damage or removal of five stop signs, two street signs, a speed limit sign, a fire hydrant and the road near 3 Augusta Drive; Female, 28, reported someone entered her home in the 100 block of Coats Street and removed a cellular phone and two glass elephants and then assaulted her;

Female, 48, reported hearing gunshots in the 800 block of South Mechanic Street; Female, 48, reported an acquaintance took money from her to purchase items and then didn’t return during an incident in the 100 block of Murrray Hill Road; Female, 49, reported someone damaged mailboxes and threaten another person during an incident in the 300 block of West Wisconsin Avenue.

May 31: Male, 49, reported someone threatened to choke and shoot him during an incident at Outback Steakhouse, 100 Southern Road.

June 1: Female, 46, reported someone attempted to steal her identity; Male, 23, reported the theft of a motorized scooter from the 11000 block of U.S. 15-501; Male, 20, reported someone pointed a gun and demanded cash after entering a home in the 300 block of Shaw Avenue.

June 2: Female, 43, reported the theft of a video game console, video games and game controllers from a home in the 1000 block of Talmadge Way.
