Eagle Springs Man Faces Numerous Drug Charges

A search of a home today in the Eagle Springs community resulted in the arrest of a man and the seizure of $2,100 in illegal drugs.
Tracy Lamont Brown, 39, of 225 Elmer Road, Eagle Springs, was arrested by officers from the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit and selective enforcement unit after the search of his residence, according to a press release.
During the search, officers located approximately 11 grams of crack cocaine, nine grams of powder cocaine, six
hydrocodone prescription pills, three grams of marijuana, $2,429.00 in U. S. currency and items of drug paraphernalia, including digital scales, according to the release.
Brown was charged with felony trafficking in opium, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Brown was jailed, with bail set at $50,000.
