Southern Pines Police Reports Through Jan. 10

The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

Jan. 4: Jordan Herschel Stewart, 29, of Pinehurst, drug possession.

Jan. 5: Nakita Laverne Renee Ware, 26, of Vass, simple assault & battery or affray.

Jan. 6: Vincent Jious Ross, 45, of Southern Pines, vandalism to real property willful and wanton injury, failure to appear; Lamar Orlando Sealy, 26, of Southern Pines, drug possession, two counts possession with intent to sell/deliver counterfeit controlled substance; Spencer Tremane Horton, 20, of Southern Pines, two counts of drug possession, possession with intent to sell/deliver counterfeit controlled substance.

Jan. 7: Richard A. Estevez, 45, of Aberdeen, drug possession and no operators license.

Jan. 9: Crystal Ardenia Andrade, 27, of Eagle Springs, drug possession; Patricia Yvonne Nixon, 41, of Southern Pines, larceny; Jonathan Dynell Jones, 19, of Southern Pines, possession of stolen weapon, carrying concealed weapons and drug possession.

Reports

Dec. 24: Female, 25, reported someone broke into her 1996 Honda while it was parked in the 500 block of Talmadge Way and removed a radio amp and speakers.

Dec. 25: Male, 34, reported someone attempted to obtain property from him by threatening him with a knife during an incident in the 400 block of W. Pennsylvania Ave.

Jan. 5: An employee with the Town of Southern Pines reported someone removed orange traffic cones from an area near W. Pennsylvania and SW Broad.

Jan. 7: An employee with Progress Energy reported the theft of copper grounding rods from property in the 700 block of W. Morganton Road; An employee with Ledo's Pizza, 1480 U.S. 1, reported that someone attempted to write a check on a closed account; Female, 19, reported that she was assaulted during an incident that happened in the 200 block of Tanglewood Drive; Male, 20, reported that someone shot his vehicle with a .45 caliber round while the victim and friends were inside the vehicle. The incident happened in the 1100 block of W. Pennsylvania Ave.; A person reported that an individual removed two cases of beer without paying for them from the Kangaroo Convenience Store, 10805 U.S. 15-501.

Jan. 8: Female, 74, reported the loss of a wallet and several credit cards and identification cards from her home on Bailly Bunion Lane.

Jan. 9: Male, 46, reported that someone damaged the antenna and taillight cover on his 1996 Chrysler while it was parked at his home on Shaw Ave.; Male, 18, reported he was threatened by another during an incident in the 500 block of W. Maine Ave.; Female, 52, reported someone damaged a computer tower at her home in Knollwood Village.
