I think I am actually embarrassed for The Pilot.
How could you let the cartoon that appeared on the “Opinion” page (Jan. 12) slip by your staff? This was not a political cartoon. It was political pornography. Perhaps slander. And the fact that it appeared on the day the president went on TV to ask for more civility in our discourse is ironic to say the least.
This is just the kind of political smut I think he was talking about. Mr. Peters is obviously in need of professional counseling, and an apology/explanation to your readers in order. Please try to not become part of the problem.

Whatever. that Cartoon was right on! There is nothing wrong with that cartoon. step back and take a look at this situation please! If you cant see how ridiculous the Left looks trying to Blame this on Sarah Palin, Guns, and Conservatives then you can't look at an issue objectively! This is such a political move, the Dem's are bleeding and the only way to stop the bleeding is start up a false witch hunt. And if they really wanted the conversation to get toned down. why dont our leaders in office try actually paying more attention to our constitution, and quit shoving stimulus bills and UNWANTED healthcare down the American Peoples throats...
