The Southern Pines Police Department provided the following information.

Arrests

Dec. 20: Dylan Anthony Lawrence Stone, 25, of Pinebluff, lights-improper lighting equipment of vehicles, no operator’s license, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia; Jamie Lee Sanders, 30, of Bessemer City, carrying a concealed weapon, resist, delay, obstruct a public officer and failure to appear (order for arrest); Scott Matthew Ellison, 37, of Pinebluff, drug possession.

Dec. 21: Edward Richard Homeyer, 38, of Southern Pines, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, child abuse a general misdemeanor and resist, delay, obstruct a public officer.

Dec. 22: Avery Brooks Hockaday, 23, of Southern Pines; misdemeanor larceny, assault on female by male of 18 years old, possessing stolen goods, possession of drug paraphernalia, resist, delay, obstruct public officer and no operator’s license.

Dec. 23: Jonathan Dynell Jones, 19, of Southern Pines, drug possession, resist, delay, obstruct public officer.

Dec. 24: Donna Dunn Altman, 38, of Rockingham, larceny.

Dec. 26: Sakeia Quashon Lucas, 19, of Pinehurst, hit and run property damage.

Dec. 27: Jason Andrew Lopez Jr., 29, of Southern Pines, dog at large/public nuisance.

Dec. 21: An employee with Gulley’s Garden Center, reported someone added a name to a personal check and cashed same by misrepresentation; Female, 23, reported someone entered a locked room at her home on Elk Road and removed a television and cash; Male, 87, reported the thefts of tools from his truck that was parked at his home on Carlisle Street.

Dec. 23: Female, 25, reported someone attempted to withdraw funds using stolen credit cards.

Dec. 24: Female, 25, reported someone broke into her 1996 Honda while it was parked on Talmadge Way and removed a radio amplifier and speakers; Female, 34, reported someone broke inter her vehicle while it was parked a her home on W. New Hampshire Ave. and removed a wallet and various credit cards; Female, 34, reported someone entered her vehicle and removed her wallet and attempted to use her debit card at a local financial institution.

Dec. 25: Male, 34, reported an acquaintance attempted to rob him at knife point during an incident in the 400 block of W. Pennsylvania Ave.

Dec. 26: Male, 31, reported someone did not pay a bill before leaving the Bell Tree restaurant, 155 NE Broad Street.

Dec. 27: An employee with The Bell Tree restaurant, 155 NE Broad Street, reported that someone damaged a chair, four wooden posts and a propane heater there; Male, 57, of Sanford, reported someone stole a package containing medication from an office building in the 200 block of Air Tool Drive.

Dec. 28: An employee with AT&T reported someone removed copper from a cell tower on Voit Gilmore Road; Female, 57, reported someone removed a license plate from a 2006 Toyota that was parked in the 100 block of SW Broad Street.

Dec. 29: An employee with Embarq reported the theft of copper wire from the CenturyLink building, 201 Air Tool Drive.
