Where I'm from ole boys like this would get a good ole butt kicking. One thing I cannot stand are thieves and it seems as if Moore County is infested with them. Everytime, I read an article in the Pilot is about drugs, and thieves. Who knew Pinehurst, NC was the ghetto? I'm sure this drives the Yankees crazy. I know it would burn my hind end too if I retired and moved to the hood, which sounds like that's the way all of Moore County is headed. Local law enforcement really needs to step it up a notch around here. These cops are way too soft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Newsflash, show me a county in the USA where there aren't any crimes being committed. People are going to commit crimes that's a fact, congrats to the Sheriff's department for arresting them.

Pinehurst is not the ghetto and it's far from it. It actually happens to be one of if not the wealthiest town in the county. Like Ken711 stated, people are going to commit crimes. Location has nothing to do with it. Don't insult the law enforcement in Moore County either; there are a lot of great LEO's that do everything they can to keep the residents of Moore County safe. And who cares if it drives the Yankees crazy, if they don't like it here then they don't have to live here. It's their choice and if they find Moore County to be so crime ridden then they are free to leave at any time.
