The Sandhills Children Center claimed the crown in the seventh annual Spelling Bee for Literacy held at the Owens Auditorium at Sandhills Community College tonight.

The squad came out on top of 22 teams competing for the title in the light-hearted competition that benefits the Moore County Literacy Council.
