Sandhills Classical Christian School and Little Friends Preschool will hold an open house Thursday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 p.m.

Parents evaluating educational institutions are invited to learn about the classical model, hear more about the school, and see the curriculum during this informational evening.

The headmaster, teachers and parents of children who are currently enrolled will be available to answer questions.

The school offers a classical education integrating studies across subjects and grades beginning in kindergarten and continuing through eighth grade.

The curriculum includes a strong phonics program, Latin studies beginning in third grade and a logic class that teaches students to think critically and construct sound arguments.

Little Friends Preschool offers pre-kindergarten and 3- and 4-year-old classrooms in Aberdeen, Pinehurst and Southern Pines. SCCS incorporates a comprehensive study of the Bible throughout students' education.
