Ah, yes, Moore County, there is a Santa Claus. I saw him!
I was the “wee elf” at the Sandhills Moore Coalition for Human Care yesterday, helping Santa Claus give toys to the other elves to be given to the kids on Christmas Eve.
All of a sudden Santa’s helper David drove up in his sleigh, aka van, jumped out and said, “I need help.” Margaret Perez, the “head elf,” ran out to help, for all the wee elves from The O’Neal School had prepared all these gifts to be put on another Santa’s helper’s sleigh for Christmas. Oh, such beautiful packages in white bags with beautiful Christmas drawings on each one.
So to all you little O’Neal School elves and all the big elves of Moore County, a great big thank you. We at the Coalition thank God for all the elves in Moore County. What a great place to live.
