Sports Brief: O'Neal Loses in Girls' Tennis

The O’Neal School varsity girls’ tennis team dropped its first home match on Thursday to Carolina Friends by the score of 7-2.
Falcon coach Don Woodfield noted freshmen Greyson Keel’s performance in singles. She rallied after trailing in the first set to claim a 7-6 (4), 6-3 win over Clara Hazlett-Norman. Ally Hoehn-Saric picked up the other point for O’Neal, winning in straight sets at No. 3 singles.
O’Neal fell to 1-1 with the loss. It was the first match of the season for Carolina Friends.
