An Idea for Mr. Buffett

Warren Buffett is a great investor. But that makes me wonder: If the American government were a private company with a balance sheet in tatters, sky-high debt and a management team made up of knuckleheads and eggheads of every type, would he invest in it? So why is he so anxious to give these people more money to hang themselves with?

How about (he give) each state that has shown an ability to keep their cost in line a billion dollars, or some such idea? At least he would be encouraging good behavior. I am sure that North Carolina would do something smarter with the money than the feds. Would someone who knows him please forward this to Warren?

I think Bank of America fits your description and he just plopped a bundle on them.
