The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.
Arrests
Aug. 21: Michael David Poole, 36, of Vass, domestic assault and simple assault; James Earl Ewing, 56, of Eagle Springs, communicating threats.
Reports
Aug. 19: Male, 44, reported someone removed a license plate and registration tag from a vehicle in Robbins; An employee of the Lakeview Post Office reported a broken window at the facility on Camp Easter Raod, Vass; Female, 44, reported the theft of a collie dog from a home on Samuel Medlin Lane, Cameron; An employee of Vass Pools, U.S. 1, Vass, reported the theft of pool liners from the store.
Aug. 20: Male, 24, of Carthage, reported someone purchased an all-terrain vehicle from him using counterfeit money; Female, 32, reported someone broke into a home on Lobelia Road, Vass, and removed jewelry; Male, 64, reported the theft of three-point tractor hitch, a trailer and mower deck from an area along Deadman Curve Road, Eagle Springs; Male, 50, reported the theft of jewelry from a home on Lobelia Road, Vass.
Aug. 21: Female, 27, reported someone broke windows, dented doors and scratched the paint on her 1998 Chevy parked on Currie Mill in Jackson Springs; Female, 55, reported someone entered a home on Reardon Lane, Carthage, and removed a heat pump, water heater, a metal door and construction material; Male, 63, reported the theft of a peanut digger from a home on Martin Road, Jackson Springs.
