The Moore County Sheriff’s Office provided the following information.

Arrests

July 31: Shawn Christopher Evangelista, 32, of Bennett, assault on a female; Mandy Poe Freeman, 32, of Robbins, assault.

Aug. 1: Quincy Lashaun Hockaday, 28, of Aberdeen, resisting a public officer.

Aug. 6: Dale Kent Conklin, 37, of Robbins, trespassing; Larry Pringle, 31, of Vass, drunk and disruptive.

Reports

July 29: Female, 47, of Carthage, reported someone used her identity without her consent; Male, 30, reported damage to the driver’s side window of his 1997 Saturn parked on N.C. 24/27 near Scotts Road, Carthage; An employee of Progress Energy reported someone cut electrical pole wires on South Plank Road, Carthage;

Male, 65, reported the theft of an auger from property on Gibson Road, Robbins; Male, 21, reported a vehicle fire involving a 1994 Camaro near Dover Church Road and N.C. 705 in Seagrove;

Female, 47, reported she was grabbed by the arm during an incident at a home on Wedgewood drive, West End; Male, 54, reported a tobacco barn fire on property near Edmonds Road, Cameron.

July 30: A Moore County sheriff’s deputy reported his vehicle struck a deer near Rock Hill Church Road, Eagle Springs; Female, 72, reported someone entered her home on Currie Baptist Street, Robbins, and removed copper tubing.

July 31: Male, 28, reported someone entered his home on J Dowdy Road, Carthage, and removed a .40-caliber handgun, credit cards and cash; Male, 75, reported someone entered a camper in a storage building on N.C. 211, West End, and removed a 32-inch television.

Aug. 1: Male, 48, reported damage to a window of a truck parked at his home on Glendon Carthage Road, Carthage; Female, 64, reported someone entered her home on Beulah Hill Road, West End, and removed copper wire and building materials;

Male, 50, reported damage to a tractor and a cattle gate on his property on Short Branch Road, Carthage; Female, 41, of Seagrove, reported someone made fraudulent charges on a debit card.

Aug. 2: Male, 45, reported the theft of trailer from a storage facility on McLaughlin Road, Vass; Male, 50, reported illegally dumped materials on open lands near Circle Drive, Vass.; Male, 63, reported the theft of a farm trailer from Martin Road, Jackson Springs;

Male, reported the theft of a firearm from a home on Murdocksville Road, West End; Male, 25, reported someone picked up a bag of tools that fell off a truck along Jackson Springs Road, Jackson Springs.

Aug. 5: A Moore County sheriff’s deputy located property previously reported stolen among items found abandoned at Neighbor’s Country Store, Lobelia; Male, 53, reported someone broke into a 2006 Chevy and removed a GPS, a knife, sunglasses and cash;

Male, 20, reported the theft of a pickup truck from Neighbors Country Store on Lobelia Road, Vass; Male, 66, reported another person entered a 2004 truck and removed cash; Male, 57, reported a vehicle fire on Happy Valley Road, West End.

Aug. 6: Male, 32, reported the theft of a Jeep from a home on Martin Road, Jackson Springs; Male, 56, reported someone removed a wallet from his pocket during an incident at his home on Robert Road, Jackson Springs.

Aug. 7: Female, 35, reported that she was pushed and grabbed by the face during an incident at a home on Manor Road, Carthage; Male, 76, reported someone removed a four-wheel recreation vehicle from his property on N.C. 705, Robbins;

Male, reported damage to multiple mailboxes in the Woodlake area of Vass; Male, 41, reported someone broke into a 2005 Mazda parked on Loblolly Drive, Vass, and removed cash.
