Tour de Trike will still take place this afternoon despite the severe weather the area experienced earlier in the day.
Races will begin at 5:30 p.m. on West New Hampshire Avenue between Broad Street and Bennett Street.
The tricycle racing event is a fundraiser for the United Way of Moore County.
