The first annual Sandhills Sand Volleyball tournament will take place on April 30, at Sandhills Community College.

The tournament will be held on the field behind the Dempsey Student Center.

It is a round robin format, one game to 21. After round robin play, bracket play will begin — best two out of three games with rally scoring.

Third games will be to 15, if necessary.

The cost is $65 per team to register ($80 after April 15). To sign up, contact head volleyball coach Alicia Hill at (910) 346-4122 or at hilla@sandhills.edu. Checks should be made payable to SCC.

All profits will benefit the Lady Flyer volleyball program.
