You think they would tell what parking lot. Their are about a dozen parking lots on US 1. Just looking at the building I can tell its KFC. The Pilot must have gotten a meal deal not to use their name in this story.

Huh, Why do they need to put what business parking lot they were in?
The Pilot bashing is getting a little old.

Agreed. Not sure why that information would be relevant. Weed will be sold in any parking lot.

I think its important to know were drugs are being sold. This head line read "Two arrested while selling marijuana in an Aberdee parking lot". Two weeks ago several people was arrested selling drugs at McDonalds. Five weeks ago several people arrested selling drugs at the kangaroo. All of these locations were on US 1 and in Aberdeen. All of the arrested were from outside the county. Is US 1 the new dealer hotspot. I go to these restaurants all the time. I would like to know which ones I should look over my shoulder when I get out of my car.

I think Kangaroo is in Southern Pines.

The Kangaroo is in Aberdeen, the line swaps back and forth right there at the light. Across the street is SP, Richmond Rentals and Kangaroo are Aberdeen, then back to SP past Richmond Rentals.

Yes, me too. Yesterday, my kids and I were deciding whether to get chicken at KFC or Bojangles. We didn't choose KFC as we usually do, but still....You never know what could of transpired out of that situation. It could've turned violent.

They sell drugs all over the place. Good luck in filtering your activities!

I see the Sheriff's Dept. is involved in alot of the cases and Aberdeen is allowed to assist because the offenses are committed in the jurisdiction. Aberdeen PD has to take a break from writing all the speeding tickets on # 1 and Poplar St. It's all about the $$$$.

Tell me about it. Traffic court is like a well oiled machine - very well organized and made to expedite as many as they can in as short a time as possible. They make you feel good as they bend you over and..........

Yeah I know crime happens just about everywhere, but if you know some places are hot spots you can try to avoid them. And guess what? There are some areas I avoid altogether.

I have an aversion to fast food so greasy joint parking lots are a no go.
