A Candor woman faces several felony charges related to obtaining controlled prescription pills by fraud.

Paula Brady Roy, 45, of the 200 block Morgan Road, Candor, was arrested Tuesday after an investigation by officers from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit into an individual obtaining oxycodone by misrepresentation to a health care provider, according to a press release.

Roy was charged with five counts of felony obtaining controlled substance by misrepresentation to a health care provider, according to the release, and was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
