A Spring Lake woman was arrested recently for the theft of vehicle that occurred back in July.

Tiffanie Darlene Russell, 26, of 119 Kaye Street, Spring Lake, has been charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle, according to a press release.

She was arrested on Sept. 15 by Moore County Sheriff’s investigators in connection with the theft of a vehicle from a Carthage man on July 13. The car was recovered and returned to the owner on July 15, according to the release.

Russell was jailed, with bail set at $4,000.
