The Aberdeen Police Department supplied the following information.

Arrests

Sept. 16: Robert James Tharp, 40, misdemeanor larceny and possession of stolen property.

Sept. 18: Geraldine Latisha Whiting, 38, of Aberdeen, misdemeanor larceny; Willie Covington Jr., 46, of Aberdeen, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 22: Danielle Coeli Ward, 17, of Aberdeen, misdemeanor simple assault.

Reports

Sept. 18: Female, 15, reported an unknown person stole her purse and various identification cards while she was at Wal-Mart, 250 Turner Street. ;

Sept. 20: Female, 20, reported an unknown subject passed the victim’s check as their own at the Burger King, 1900 N. Sandhills Blvd.

Sept. 21: Male, 33, reported someone struck him in the face during an incident at Applebee’s on U.S. 1; Female, 59, of Pinehurst, reported someone took her debit card from the McDonald’s on U.S. 1 in Aberdeen and used the card to obtain cash.

Sept. 23: Male, 38, reported someone entered a 1992 Saturn parked at the Kangaroo gas station, 1395 U.S. 1. The suspects took a computer, web cam, flash drive, MP3 player, power cord and various CDs.

Sept. 24: Female, 21, reported two suspects robbed her at gunpoint in the parking lot of Harris Teeter, 1408 Churchill Downs Drive. The suspects took a purse, wallet, various credit cards, identification cards and a cell phone.
