With the Patriots (6-0) leading 14-0, John Brown picked off passes thrown by the Bulldogs' Kalem Hunt on consecutive possessions and returned both of them to the five yard line. Quarterback Kyle Ocheltree scored both times, as the Patriots extended extended their lead to 27-0.
The Bulldogs (1-5) had things going their way early on. On the first Patriot offensive series, Datorrius Robinson recovered a fumble at the Bulldog 17-yard line. Pass completions by Hunt of 12 yards to Jhamel Leonard and 38 yards to Antonio Henderson helped move the ball to the home team's 32. Four plays gained minus yardage and the ball went back to the Patriots.
With under a minute left in the first period, Damion Pride put the first points on the board with a 25-yard scoring run.
The other Patriot points came on a 14-yard touchdown pass to Pat Moore from Ocheltree, a 3-yard touchdown run from Dee Kirkpatrick, and a 28-yard field goal from Dillon Maples. Maples kicked three extra points. Jeremy Brock kicked one.
The longest gain of the day was by the Bulldogs' Devon Currie in the fourth quarter. The 5-foot-8, 245 pound defensive lineman picked up a Patriot fumble on his own five yard line and returned it 68 yards to the home team's 37.
