The Pinecrest volleyball team improved to 4-1 in the Southeastern Conference and 14-3 overall with a 25-18, 25-19 and 25-19 sweep at Richmond Senior Tuesday evening.

The Patriot jayvee and varsity squads entertain Union Pines on Wednesday, beginning with the jayvee contest at 5 p.m.

Setter Megan Thomas had 13 assists for the Patriots in the win over the Raiders. Addy George had 12 kills and Janea Williams had 11 kills and five blocks. Also for the Pats, Uniqwa Morrison had 6 kills, Ashleigh Mckenzie contributed eight assists and Keegan Lynch had six assists.
