Southern Pines Police Reports Through Sept. 15

The Southern Pines Police provided the following information.

Arrests

Sept. 1: Robert Patrick Baker Jr., 52, of Southern Pines, assault on a female; Virginia Harris McNeill, 69, of Southern Pines, communicating threats.

Sept. 2: Haze Ottaland McRae, 38, of West End, drug possession and resist delay or obstruct a public officer.

Sept. 3: Richard Allen Wilbert Jr., 38, of Pinehurst, using a telephone to threaten bodily harm.; Joe Alton Floyd, 56, of Comer, Ga., driving while impaired, speeding-failure to reduce to avoid accident.

Sept. 7: Raquisha Elaine Williams, 29, Southern Pines, trafficking heroin.

Sept. 8: Eric Lamont Barnes, 42, of Robbins, failure to appear (order for arrest)

Sept. 9: Jason Leon Durden, 26, Clarkton, NC, disorderly conduct and resist delay obstruct a public officer.

Sept. 10: Caroline Elizabeth Hampton, 37, of Pinehurst, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear (order for arrest)

Sept. 12: Christina Sullivan Kellis, 43, of Southern Pines, misdemeanor child abuse.

Reports

Sept. 9: Female, 78, reported broken lights and a broken window at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 1355 W. Michigan Ave.; Male, 51, reported someone attempted to use an ATM card/account information to fraudulently obtain money from the State Employees Credit Union, 10955 U.S. 15-501.

Sept. 10; Male, 42, of Georgia, reported someone took a credit card, jewelry, a room key, identification and cash from him while he was at Talamore Golf Resort, 48 Talamore Drive, Southern Pines.

Sept. 11: Male, 63, reported a broken window on a camper shell that was located in the 1000 block of S. Hardin Street; Police discovered a sawed off shotgun and ammunition in a bag hidden in the 900 block of S. Gaines Street; Male, 35, reported someone broke out windows at his home in the 900 block of S. Hardin Street.

Sept. 13: A Southern Pines town employee reported someone spray painted the public library, 170 W. Connecticut Ave.

Sept. 14: Female, 31, reported a broken window at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 274 S. Gaines Street; Female, 70, reported someone removed medicine from the porch of her home in the 100 block of Woodcrest Road.

Sept. 15: Police responded to a report of someone illegally burning clothes and furs. The incident happened near the corner of N.E. Broad Street and E. Rhode Island Ave.
