The following information was provided by the Pinehurst Police Department.
Reports
Sept. 3: Female, 82, reported someone took assorted jewelry from her home in the 1600 block of Morganton Road.
Sept. 4: An employee with Pinehurst Rehab reported a person communicated threats by walking down the hallway of the business with a butcher knife.
Sept. 5: Female, 62, reported the registration plate to a 1984 Chevrolet was missing.
Sept. 6: Male, 71, reported someone stole his wallet from his golf bag while it was on a golf cart at Pinehurst Resort; Male, 60, reported someone broke a window out of the back door and entered his residence on Gray Fox Run; Female, 47, reported finding a plastic clipboard on N.C. 5 near Shaw Road.
Sept. 7: Police responded to a report that multiple vehicles were entered and items were taken, including sunglasses, makeup, a purse, ammunition and a computer; Female, 88, reported a subject called her telephone cursing at her.
Sept. 8: A female from Myrtle Beach, S.C., reported someone took a wallet from a 51-year-old male from Southern Pines. The incident happened at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital; Female, 49, reported a known person possibly stole her 2007 Toyota.
Sept. 9: Male, 43, reported that he thought someone had attempted to enter his home on Sawmill Court; Female, 60, reported a person entered and remained on her property after being told to leave. The incident happened at a home on Maverick Place; An employee with Pinehurst Resort reported someone drove a vehicle on the green of the second hole on Pinehurst No. 2 causing $7,000 worth of damage.
Sept. 10: Female, 28, reported a subject took a wallet from an open console in the taxi she was driving; Male, 40, reported damage to the right rear window of his 2007 Volvo parked in the 200 block of Everette Road.
Sept. 11: An employee with Dugan’s Pub, 2 Market Square, reported an intoxicated female caused a scene and refused to leave after she was asked to do so.
Sept. 12: Female, 27, reported a known male subject sexually harassed her at the Carolina Hotel; Female, 36, reported someone attempted to break into her residence in the 100 block of Spring Lake Drive; Police responded to a report that a sign on Lake Hills Road had been run over by a vehicle.
