Cocaine Seized, Two Arrested

More than 180 grams of cocaine was seized and two people arrested Wednesday in the parking lot of the Sandhills Shopping Center in Aberdeen.
Jose Reyes Gayton, 39, of 29 Aleo Sixth Avenue, Rockingham, and Gricelda Cordova Barrios, 32, of 107 Rose Hill Road, Aberdeen, were arrested by and charged with two counts of felony trafficking in cocaine, two counts of felony conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine and felony maintaining a vehicle to keep controlled substance, according to a press release.
The arrests stemmed from a drug investigation conducted by officers from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit and select enforcement unit, with assistance from the Aberdeen Police Department, according to the release.
At the time of the arrest, officers located approximately 187 grams of cocaine and $123.50. The estimated street value of the cocaine seized $18,000, according to the release.
Both Gatyon and Barrios were jailed, with bail set at $250,000.

I wonder why the MC Detention Center's website lists all the Hispanics as white instead of Hispanic.
