The Moore County Sheriff's Office supplied the following information.
Reports
Sept. 1: A member of the Crain’s Creek Fire Department reported someone took a 4x4 post and sign and a hydrant wrench from the fire station, 5083 Lobelia Road, Vass; an employee with Progress Energy reported someone removed two transformers from a power pole and damaged the pole. The incident happened near Hooting Hollow Lane, Vass; female, 50, of Pinehurst, reported that an unknown subject attempted to use her credit/debit card without her permission at a various locations; male, 27, reported someone entered his residence on Jennet Drive, West End, and took a laptop computer, a flat screen television a video game console with controller and two video games; female, 41, reported an acquaintance threatened to choke her during an incident at her home on Johnson Road, Carthage; male, 40, reported someone took siding from trash at a construction site on Spring Meadows Drive, Aberdeen.
Sept. 3: Female, 31, reported she was pushed during a domestic incident at her home on Helen Lane, Cameron; male, 44, reported someone entered a garage on his property on NC 705 in Robbins and took a riding lawnmower, two window AC units, two chrome rims, a refrigerator, a dryer, an intake manifold with carburator and various tools and a tool box; male, 38, reported a subject broke into his home on E. Indiana, Southern Pines, and took items, including a laptop computer, weed eater, spear gun, 12-gauge shotgun, crossbow, chainsaw, binoculars, cooler, two hinge lifts from a 4-wheeler, a rifle carrying case and nail clippers; female, 61, reported someone took a trailer from her home on Vass-Carthage Road; female, 52, reported someone broke into her home on East Indiana by going through the garage and took a garden tiller; male, 43, reported the theft of scrap metal from property on Jason Road, Seagrove; male, 50, reported someone took copper wire from a construction sited on Glendon-Carthage Road, Carthage; an employee with Lockey Properties, Industrial Way, Aberdeen, reported someone removed a padlock from a gate on the business property; female, 88, reported someone broke into her home on Graham Street in Carthage and took a purse and cash; an employee with Randolph Electric reported a suspect bridged a power box to reconnect power after it had been shut off at a home on Fire Tree Lane, West End; female, 61, reported someone drove a vehicle into a mailbox at her home on Esther Road, West End; male 88, of Aberdeen, reported someone forged checks on his account; male, 33, reported someone used a BB gun to shoot out a window of a residence on Jolinda Road in Vass.
Sept. 4: Female, 21, reported that she was hit and a minor was grabbed by the arm during a domestic incident at her home on Ample Pine Drive, Aberdeen; male, 67, of Tartan Trail, Southern Pines, reported someone entered his work truck and took various items including, a laptop computer, digital camera, computer programs, cordless computer mouse, camera memory card, carrying cases for the computer and the camera and a wedding ring; an employee with Quick and Easy convenience store, NC 22 in Robbins, reported that someone damaged a store canopy with a vehicle; an employee of Zion Grove AME Church, Jackson Springs, reported someone vandalized the church by breaking a window at the church and damaging a door; an employee with Farrier Supply, U.S. 1 in Vass, reported someone broke into the store damaging a glass window.
Sept. 5: Female, 34, reported she was choked during a domestic incident at her home on Stanford Lane, Jackson Springs.
Sept. 6: Female, 19, reported she was grabbed by the arm during a domestic incident at her home on Carter Road, Robbins.
Sept. 7: A male from West End reported that someone removed a license plate from a boat trailer that was parked on Seven Lakes Drive, West End; an employee with Quality Built Homes reported that someone stole a work vehicle that was parked in front of his home on Gelding Gap in Eagle Springs; male, 57, reported finding a wallet near the side of the road of NC 705 near Community Road, Eagle Springs.
